De Quack

The De Quack campsite is located close to the Voornes Dunes in the Quack polder. This young calcareous dune area consists of fixed and shifting dunes, dune valleys, marsh and woods, and its primary charm is the peace and quiet it has to offer.

Unlike many other dune areas, water is not extracted here, so that damp and wet dune valleys still occur. They form the ideal habitat for many unusual plants, such as orchids.
The lakes in the dunes also attract great white egrets, spoonbills and countless other marsh and water birds.
