Health & Safety

We attach a great deal of importance to the health and safety of our guests and staff. The water supplies at the De Quack campsite are, for example, checked regularly for the presence of legionella bacteria. Furthermore, our staff have first-aid certificates and can help in the event of minor accidents.

Since we include our environment in the topic of health and safety, a summary of how we deal with environmental matters is also given below.

The environment:
Because the campsite is located in a nature conservation area, we have to look after our surroundings carefully. This is why our management and staff do all they can to spare the environment and rule out risks to it. All staff members take the environment and related campsite policy into account while carrying out their duties, and they do so as a matter of course. Our objective, which is based on this policy, is to minimise the production of waste and to limit any detrimental effects on the air, water and soil by means of an effective environmental management system.
It will be clear that we also expect an environmentally-friendly approach from our guests. We will not tolerate environmental pollution of any kind, whether it concerns the tossing of a piece of paper on the ground or the careless treatment of the plants on the campsite. Our staff will not hesitate to tackle any guests who show environmentally-unfriendly conduct.
